Chasing after numbers in your bank account is one thing but being passionate in your job is another! Here, my role as a curator allows me to utilize my skillsets to deliver unique experiences to all who come to GenM. Setting in stone a space for youths not only to network with other professional or non-professional but to unleash their own creativity and personality to build a small community of your own is an opportunity that is close-to-impossible to come by. Nonetheless, my role allows me to do just that for aspiring youths just.....like......YOU! My journey as a curator doesn't stop here and I hope your journey as a participant will continue to grow throughout the years with GenM. Be inspired, be empowered and be the change for young people today!

I have always been a people person finding joy through connecting with different communities and sharing different experiences. I think we can all agree that while going through a global pandemic brought us closer to the people we love and care about, it also created a challenge on being able to make new connections. After being forced to limit interaction with others for such a long time, now more than ever is the time where many are looking for opportunities to socialise and rebuild communities that were broken off. Thankfully, #MYouth has provided the perfect medium to rebuild communities and expand your network via different episodes of GenM 2023. I am extremely excited to share with all of you the episodes my team and I have curated! Hope you guys are as excited as I am to connect with one another at GenM 2023!

Growing up I have always had many interests and things I wanted to do and explore. One thing that have always stuck with me until now is my passion towards arts and painting. To me, art is my refuge, passion and tool to explore the uncharted depths of my imagination. With GenM, I would want people to connect with others on a level beyond words, trascending cultural and linguistic barriers through their own forms of art and passion.

Rooted in sustainability and inclusivity, I have collaborated with my fellow #MYouths to curate episodes with these two pillars at the forefront of everything we do. Of course, if I am being completely honest, most of these episodes are also deeply tied to my interests and hobbies, and I can't wait to share the joys of these interests with all of you! So, I hope you are as excited as I am for the curated episodes that I am personally passionate about. ✨

As I continue to navigate the journey as a young working professional, I realised that life isn’t social all the time. Making new friends and maintaining friendships don't come as naturally easy as compared to when I was a student. Being part of the curation process, GenM serves as an inclusive and safe space to build meaningful connections that WE want. It can be through shared interests, engaging activities, or heart-to-heart conversations, it’s where both YOU and I get to create our own story and journey to those friendships.

Being a girl and the youngest in the family, it has always been a struggle to get people to acknowledge and actually listen to me. I only get that privilege if I become the loudest person in the room or when I’m given the platform to. With that being said, I believe that everyone deserves the chance to be heard and they don’t have to push themselves to be the loudest in the room to do so. My aim is to make GenM a platform that provides safe spaces for everyone to voice out not only concerns, but their happy thoughts as well. Voicing out doesn’t have to always be negative, sometimes, you just need someone to listen to just anything.

From a young age, I've held strongly onto the principle of creating a positive impact on society and people's lives, no matter where I go. Youth empowerment has always been close to my heart, and I'm grateful to be given this opportunity to truly provide youths the platform to be empowered. The GenM Global Summit offers an unconventional and thrilling opportunity like no other! This year, I'm excited to be a part of it and eager to see how we can ignite a powerful wave of change for YOUths everywhere! Keeping true to my personal motto, “to make a change, be the change.”

A passionate curator fueled by the love for anything analog and anything fast. Laments the direction that technological convenience is headed in, but grudgingly accepts the logic behind it. Shared passions such as photography and motorsport have become my lifeline during the pandemic, connecting me with like-minded souls. Crafting experiences is my way of spreading joy and creating lasting memories, even amidst challenging times.

As youths, I feel it is important to enjoy and explore as many things as possible while we have the autonomy to do so. That is why I have always enjoyed engaging in a plethora of activities. As part of the curating team for GenM, I hope to create a platform where youths like me will be able to develop themselves through their own personalised sandbox experience. I believe the GenM pillars of Learn, Play and Defy empowers the youth of creating their own experiences.

Throughout my years spent in university from the confines of my home due to COVID-19, one of my biggest regrets is missing out on the social life that is promised to every university student. The bustling campuses, the late nights with friends, the sense of excitement of exploring a new landscape independently. But GenM brings the youth of different nationalities, interests, and passion together. I aim to curate GenM to still bring the sense of wonderment that one gets when stepping into uni for the first time, and a platform for youths to connect and deepen relationships.

Growing up as a child, I have always find it hard to bring my messages across to people through words. Throughout my universitiy life, I learned that messages can be brought accross through different mediums, not just by my words but a combination of many other methods. I believe that everyone has their own way to express or bring their messages forward and through GenM, it can be your own medium to voice out your words the way you want it to be.
