In this session, we learned about the common causes behind blindness whilst learning how we as abled people, can assist the visually impaired through the 3As (Approach, Ask, Assist). I wish that after this session, you’ll be able to see our world through a more inclusive lens and also lend a helping hand wherever possible!
Inclusivity is an important pillar of GenM and MYouth, whereby we aim to spread awareness and encourage learning on these topics. We hope you learned the importance of tactile textures, such as pavements and buttons while also understanding how big of an impact it is in allowing those who are visually impaired to navigate their world.
